The entire Philippines will observe Fire Prevention Month this March, with the theme “Sa Pamayanang Nagdadamayan, Sunog ay Maiiwasan” (In a Community that Helps One Another, Fires Can Be Prevented).
March has been recognized as Fire Prevention Month because of the significant number of fire incidents that typically occur during this time.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) will lead a variety of campaigns and initiatives throughout the month to promote preparedness and reduce fire-related accidents.
The official celebration of Fire Prevention Month in 2025 is scheduled to take place from Saturday, March 1, 2025, to Monday, March 31, 2025, featuring a range of activities organized by the BFP to inform the public about fire safety and prevention.
